I keep this blog for friends, family and students in Japan& the U.S.

Since Spring '07, Zen and Taka moved to California full time for Zen's basketball career. I'm in California most of the time right now too. Almost every day I go to help my Grandmom. She was born in 1919. Taka and I also get to work for Uncle Lynn's landscaping company. Santa Cruz, California. As beautiful as ever. However I still feel homesick for Japan~~

June 15th week #2 in Japan

This is what I spend hours working on these past days- for some of my favorite students who came to party last night. I brought back crystals from Pennsylvania, and elsewhere... brought them back here to Japan...

...but I have ALL these other beads from way back when too. I used to try to make Native American style jewlery before Ischin was born. But after Ischin began crawling, I kept finding colorful beads in his diapers. He was eating them so I had to I put them away for these 25 years.

Ischin also joined our feast~

The "real deal" - you see what you get! Or- you see WHERE what you get is REALLY from!
