I keep this blog for friends, family and students in Japan& the U.S.

Since Spring '07, Zen and Taka moved to California full time for Zen's basketball career. I'm in California most of the time right now too. Almost every day I go to help my Grandmom. She was born in 1919. Taka and I also get to work for Uncle Lynn's landscaping company. Santa Cruz, California. As beautiful as ever. However I still feel homesick for Japan~~

Days in Santa Cruz with 3/4 of my kids

This is a photo I took of Sheon jumping!
Often before practice Zen drinks this protein drink. He showed Naomi~
(those black stripes on Zen's back are for the pain he's had, a masseuse used them on him)

Naomi was brave. She tried it~...but then proceeded to spit it out~
What you will do for what you love!

FLEA MARKET!!!!
Sheon said this looked so much like America! All ぐちゃぐちゃ!so messy and all plopped in a tangled mound~
Sheon took this pic below..."random" she called it in Japanese. She wondered why/how the person was selling a single tire.  At first I wondered...was this legal? Those dogs living in the van like that. But finally I asked to photograph the man~ they were SO CUTE! Those puppies that is.
And then papa dog popped his head out.

This little doggie was shivering, his owner said he was just excited

Walking home, yeah, I had turned around, I was walking backwards~
Isn't this cute? From this photo to.....
this photo! My girls are too cute! The goats were pretty cute too
Sheon almost pet the goat~ till I warned her it might bite her...instead we pushed the blossoms to it and it ate the blossoms.
Yes, these days SO many trees and flowers are all in bloom. Crazy. It's still January.
